Some outdoor protective covers also come with exhaust fans, heating plates, and wipers, which can better protect the equipment. When the weather is too hot, the exhaust fan automatically works; When it is too cold, the heating plate automatically works; When there is rainwater on the protective cover glass, the wiper can be activated through the control system.

When selecting protective covers, attention should be paid to:

1. Choose indoor or outdoor protective covers correctly based on the installation location. The main function of the indoor security monitoring system protective cover is to prevent dust, while the main function of the outdoor protective cover is not only to prevent dust, but also to protect the camera from working normally in various harsh natural environments.

2. Select the appropriate size of protective cover. The size of the protective cover should be greater than the sum of the dimensions of the camera and lens, otherwise the camera and lens cannot be installed.

3. If selecting a protective cover with a constant temperature function, the power supply to the protective cover should be considered; Choose a protective cover with wiper function. If there is a decoder, it can be controlled through the decoder. If there is no decoder, consider adding a relay to control it.
